Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) - BrightStar Care of Baltimore County, a private duty home care and medical staffing franchise in Lutherville-Timonium recognized by the Joint Commission as an Enterprise Champion for Quality is proud to announce that Tynisha Mosley-Bates, a Baltimore County resident, has been named 2018 Nurse of the Year. This award is in recognition for the unparalleled and compassionate care she provides to every client, as well as their family caregivers.

Tynisha initially joined the team at BrightStar Care of Lutherville-Timonium in 2015 as a caregiver after recently relocating to the area. Within 7 months, she became the office’s Assistant Director or Nursing, and only 18 months after that, became Director of Nursing. Tynisha was nominated by Lynn Berberich, franchise owner of BrightStar Care’s Baltimore County office. “All of us at BrightStar Care of Baltimore County have always known Tynisha was #1,” said Lynn Berberich, BrightStar Care franchisee. “Whether it be the compassionate care she provides to clients and their families, being our go-to ‘hard stick’ nurse, or the mentorship she offers to all of our caregiving and nursing teams - we are elated that BrightStar Care has recognized her for what we’ve known since day one.”

Tynisha is "known for her 'firsts.'…she is 'number ONE in her compassionate care of our clients and their family caregivers.'"
