The Legislative Services Division:
• Provides professional associations with comprehensive legislative and regulatory analysis of federal health issues
• Lobbies Congress on pertinent issues by congressional visits and letters to Congress
• Assists professional groups' grassroots efforts through web postings and letters for downloading
• Builds and works with other health care coalitions on relevant issues
• Provides legislative advocacy training and member updates through seminars and meetings
• Gains opportunities to participate in legislative and regulatory testimony and comments
• Provides analysis and overviews of current legislative and regulatory issues through professional journals
