Facility Description
The fermentation facility at GDS Technology, Inc. in Elkhart, Indiana, is designed to produce microorganisms, including recombinant organisms, from which commercially important enzymes and proteins are purified. These enzymes are either sold in bulk [Enzymes and Bulk Reagents] or used in the production of in vitro diagnostic devices (IVDs) [LER - GDS Liquid Enzymatic Reagent Kits] manufactured according to cGMP and subject to 510(k) clearance by the FDA.
