Art and Production
The art and production team consists of 2 layout designers, a creative designer, and an art director. Their unique personalities and creative skills builds a strong design team.
Some of our services include designing art for annual symposiums, conferences, and conventions which is used throughout the year in various promotional projects. In addition we have developed slides, designed posters, and produced membership and product directories for our clients.
The department uses several printing vendors. The art director works close with the vendors to ensure all deadlines are met in a cost-efficient manner. Department members work closely with the Editorial Department. The two departments have mutual respect and dedication to this relationship that contributes to their success.
The Art Department uses a MacIntosh platform. Each member uses a Power Macintosh G4. We use a Linotype-Hell scanner for flat art and photographs. We have a Scanmaker 35t plus, which enables us to scan slides. We accept material supplied to us on a SyQuest 270MB, 100MB Zip cartridge, and CD Rom.
