The company has received a patent for novel disposable defibrillation electrodes that are optimized to alleviate skin irritation and patient discomfort resulting from multi-day wear. It is anticipated that the patented electrodes will be utilized with the firm's Powerheart hospital bedside defibrillator-monitor and new products under development.
